Thank You for Your Generosity
Thank you all for sharing your gifts, talent and treasure with your SVdP Parish Ministry! This Holiday Season, we asked for your help with our Thanksgiving Food Drive and Christmas Gift Card Program. Thanks to all of you, both programs were a huge success!

We received more than 700 Thanksgiving Meal Bags including extra food items and cash donations from parishioners, individuals and local businesses who made a difference through their generous contribution to our food drive. We also received a special donation from a parishioner who is affiliated with Bill Miller B-B-Q and our Thanksgiving Food Drive sponsor, H-E-B. Together, we were able to provide over 500 families in need with a delicious Thanksgiving feast.

Once again we were able to make the holidays merry and bright for those less fortunate in our community. We received 344 Gift Cards and assisted more than 140 families this year. In the spirit of St. Nicholas, these families had children under the age of 18 years old or were 65 years and older. Your donation allowed them to purchase Christmas gifts for their children or to support the elderly in the household. The hope, light and joy this holy season brings will shine brighter due to your generosity.
Thank you all for your kind generosity. We could not have accomplished this without the help and support of the parishioners at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes, neighborhood partners, Project Chairs Lydia and Mark Villarreal, Trish Villegas and Beverly Rosel, and James and Shellie Malik, and all the Vincentians who worked behind the scenes to make these programs a success.
Happy New Year and may the Lord continue to bless you all.
