Thanksgiving Food Drive
November 4, 2023 - November 19, 2023
Everyone deserves to enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. Help us provide at least 100 families with the food they need to celebrate this holiday tradition. SVDP Helotes members will distribute shopping lists inside H-E-B grocery bags that can be filled with non-perishable food products for a delicious Thanksgiving meal. A $20 H-E-B gift card for a turkey should also be included in the bag when it’s returned by November 19.
The filled bags will be distributed to our families in need in Helotes and Northwest San Antonio on November 20. The bags will be available for pick up and drop off at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Helotes before and after weekend Masses (see schedule):
Empty Bag Distribution:
- Saturday, November 4 and Sunday, November 5
- Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12
Filled Bag and Gift Card Collections:
- Saturday, November 11 and Sunday, November 12
- Saturday, November 18 and Sunday, November 19
